Pemberton Farm Chalets have a range of activities for the whole family while you are enjoying our farm stay in Pemberton.

The kids will love the the open green spaces, adventure playground and trampolines.

In the long hot summer days  have a quick game of tennis with the whole family on  our tennis court or a game of one on one basket ball with our basket ball hoop.

Large open spaces that you can sit and enjoy the fresh air and children can safely run around on.There is always a space for you to find privacy in the grounds

We have horses that love to to be petted especially our resident donkey who loves as many carrots as you can supply.

Want a bush walk , we are in close proximity to the Bibbulmun Track that weaves and winds its way from the the Gloucester Tree to the Cascades .

The Gloucester Tree is only a short 10 minute walk through the Arboretum that is adjacent to the Farm, see who is brave enough to climb to the top. Why not do all three Trees while you are here and climb the Diamond Tree and the Centenary Tree as well; all within a short driving distance from Pemberton Farm Chalets

We are a short walk or bike ride to the town of Pemberton and there is easy access along the old railway line so there is no need to go out on to the main highway. The Mountain Bike track is only a short ride from the Farm. There is easy access to the Munda Biddi Track for those cyclists who would like more of an adventure on an off road cycling track.

In town you have the Tram that takes you deep into the Forest of Jarrah and Karri Trees, the tour guides on this trip have extensive knowledge of Pemberton as the mill town it use to be.

We are the closest town to the Yeagarup Dunes, that are in pristine condition and is a national park, take a tour with local Pemberton Discovery Tours, who will take you on a guided 4 wheel drive tour of this beautiful place.

Pemberton has natural beautiful water features all in a short drive from Pemberton Farm Chalets these are spectacular after the rain The Cascade and  The Beedelup Falls.

If you want a boat ride there are the Donnelly River cruises the bus will pick you up in Pemberton to take you on your trip to the river through the Beedelup Forest.

Enjoy the outdoors on the rivers and creeks go kayaking or canoeing bring your own or go with a guide that supplies you with Kayaks and canoes for a half day adventure with Pemberton Hiking and Canoeing

Between mid September to late October is Pemberton’s wildflower season with rare and beautiful orchids, native wisteria, white clematis and other native wild flowers making a beautiful show.

Or take a trip to the beautiful Windy Harbour a small village nestled in the dunes of the Pt D’Entrecasteaux national park foreshore. Do a spot of fishing from the wild southern coast line.

In summer swim in the sheltered waters of the harbor.

Explore the rocks taking the walking track to the Cathedral Rock on the coastal survivors walk or take a drive up to the look out and see where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean and may be see whales passing by especially when they are migrating.

On the way back drop into the attractions of Northcliffe ( the town that refuses to die) to enjoy the Understory Art and Nature trail or climb Mount Chudalup and explore yesteryear at the Northcliffe Pioneer Musemum, for you who are cyclist this is the home of the Boorara State Championship Mountain Bike Trail.

Plan a day to tour the Vineyards, Cidery and Brewery in the region which because of the higher altitude and cooler weather is perfect for Bordeaux stile wines;

If fishing is in your blood or just want to teach the children to fish, there are plenty of spots along the beach for surf fishing from a 4 wheel adventure  to Fish Creek, Windy harbor or the aptly named Salmon Beach another 4 wheel drive adventure to the Warren river and beach as well as the Yeagarup beach after trailing through the dues.

If it is fresh water fishing then trout can be find in many of the creeks and rivers around Pemberton or try the Big brook just remember to have a licence and asking if it season to fish those inland rivers and creeks.

Summer is the Marron season which also requires a license and a strict season however you could go to the Marron Farm and buy them from there to feast upon while you drink a local wine and watch the setting sun after a busy day being out and about in Pemberton.

 

Events in Pemberton

Unearthed Festival that is a rolling festival full of events in April and May.

Pemberton Classic  which is a road race that tests the abilities of all of the cyclists on the Labour long weekend.

Karri Cup an endurance mountain bike event held in April in Northcliffe.

Pemberton Art Prize and the  the Pemberley Sculpture in the Vines and the Annual Photography Competition ad exhibition are part of the Unearthed festival
