What to do while staying on the farm

With Spring here the whales are making their migratory trek up the coast of Western Australia for the birth of their calves in the warm water of the north.

From the lookout at Point D’Entrecastteaux you may be lucky enough to see the whales as they pass by the coast.

Also while you are there take a walk to the  Tookalup lookout ( approx. 1/2 way up the hill) and see the rock wallabies and see the waves coming in on Salmon Beach.

At the bottom of the hill turn left into the Salmon car park and with a walk along the track in the sand dunes and take a surf caster (don’t forget to purchase a fishing licences) and maybe catch a fish from the beach. At the turnoff from the Windy Harbour road turn right and into the village of Windy Harbour , a small beachland village. There is a beautiful swimming beach and a great place for fishing. Bring back your catch and cook it on your bar-b-que at your chalet.

This is a approx. 50 kms away from the farm, driving through beautiful Karri forests, a quaint village, farmland and through a national park, a pleasant adventure for you and your family to complete while you are staying with us at the farm.
