Where to Go, What to Do and Where to be seen in the month of May in Pemberton

The month of May is certainly a busy month for Pemberton.

The unearthed festival starts this weekend with a lot of activities for people to unearth the treasures of Pemberton and the surrounding Manjimup Shire.
The festival is a rolling event that starts with the Gala opening at the Silkwood winery and the Community Harvest Dinner and Dance in the Mill Hall on the 9th May with activities and workshops involving Art and Heritage, Food and Wine and Adventure ending with the Gala closing dinner at the Karri Valley Resort and A hypnotist and Dinner at the Mill hall for a full program of what is happening in the Unearthed festival go to www.unearthedpemberton.com.au

 

This weekend on the 9th of May, Pemberton is a host to one of the stages of this first TWOOCEAN Mountain Bike Race and they will be racing in  the hills at the back of the farm.

 

On 22nd May to the 24th May Pemberton is hosting the Targa South West tarmac rallying event . Its an event that’s designed to be fun weekend away for the crews and thier teams, whilst providing the people in and around Pemberton and Manjimup with a colorful and engaging motor sport event right on their doorstop. Not only that but you could even do a lap in the car of your chose on the 22nd of May and be the passenger in a lap of the event for this is a charity event to raise money for the Help-a-Mate initiative. www.targasouthwest.com.au

So plenty to do and be seen at this Month of May.

 

O and dont forget it is Mothers Day on the  10th of May so I hope all you mothers out there get spoilt on our special day.
